Squarespace Enterprise: 2024 Year in Review
2024 has been an incredible year for Squarespace Enterprise. Between product launches and new features, we’ve spent the year focused on delivering high-quality website management tools to customers. We also spent the year fostering relationships with customers whose feedback informs and inspires the features organizations expect from Squarespace. Looking ahead to what's in store for Squarespace Enterprise customers in 2025, let's take a moment to revisit some of the standouts introduced in 2024.
Succeed at scale with global text and code blocks
To save customers significant time crafting, editing, and managing consistently on-brand enterprise sites at scale, Squarespace Enterprise introduced global text and code blocks within Design Library. These blocks give brands increased flexibility to save, edit, and use content and code in bulk across their organization’s managed sites.
Global content blocks make it possible to consistently deploy high-quality, brand-aligned, and conversion-optimized websites. Optimize new content and updates before going live with freedom to develop unpublished sites and iterate on live pages. Then, use global code blocks to infuse functionality into site elements like:
Global images and videos
Bulk updates to announcements and pop-ups
Extensions and widgets like mortgage calculators
A new, streamlined way to manage and preview Enterprise templates
Site administrators can now select which template starting point—blank, custom, or Squarespace-created—first appears for their organization’s members in the Create Site flow. Organizations can control team member permissions for creating and changing new sites.
Admins can show or hide specific template types. Alternatively, they can adjust visibility on all templates at once when they want to allow team members to start new site trials. In the latter case, admins can still start trials from the Templates tab of their Design Library.
More ways to assign content access to team members
Squarespace Enterprise evolved how organizations assign content access and editing and publishing permissions for each team member from their centralized dashboard. This protects site content from unwanted changes using single sign-on (SSO) integrations from partners like Google, Okta, Azure, and Classlink, while improving log-in experiences for approved employees. Organizations with SSO enabled can also now choose to allow or disallow invites to team members without SSO enabled.
Send contracts and invoices at scale using Email Campaigns
In 2024, Squarespace Enterprise introduced the ability to add Email Campaigns to contracts and invoices to the Enterprise offering, empowering brands to directly reach more clients and prospects with officially branded documentation through powerful automation. Use Email Campaigns to send emails at scale to clients and prospects whose information has been captured via a sites’ newsletter blocks or any other intake forms. Outreach efforts can also automatically repurpose existing site content to highlight products, services, promotions, and more, saving organizations significant time while ensuring every talking point only uses preapproved, brand-aligned offering messages.
End-to-end security through SOC 2 Type II compliance certification
The security of Squarespace customers and their customers is and always has been a top priority for Squarespace Enterprise.
As part of Squarespace Enterprise’s commitment to safeguarding data and providing secure, high-quality site browsing experiences, Squarespace Enterprise received the SOC 2 Type II compliance certification. This was the result of a rigorous six-month security audit with a verified third-party auditor, which required Squarespace Enterprise to pass in-depth security tests of organization-wide processes and protocols. These included a look into how Squarespace manages and stores customer information, reports bugs, handles internal and external communications and human resources, and more.
Actionable data for solving enterprise-level challenges
Organizational administrators can now email themselves a CSV file containing their organization’s site traffic data from Squarespace analytics. This functionality can help businesses better and more quickly understand how sites perform on an individual or aggregate basis with granular, actionable, and insight-rich data. What’s more, the CSV file natively integrates with commonly used enterprise-grade analytics tools, streamlining your ability to make the most out of all exported data.
More additions to Squarespace Enterprise

Zero transaction fees
Squarespace Enterprise is committed to helping organizations maximize their revenue across every transaction. Customers now incur zero transaction fees on sales of physical products, Digital Products, services, and Member Sites through their Squarespace sites. Unlimited video storage
Video content is proving more and more meaningful to today’s consumers, closely connecting them to brands through sight and sound. Enterprise organizations have access to unlimited storage for high-resolution videos meeting Squarespace’s video file requirements. Stored videos can be deployed across websites, empowering customers to deliver more video content than ever before with video blocks and section backgrounds.
AI site builder and text editor that work for you
Artificial intelligence (AI) has sparked untold levels of productivity and innovation across the business world. This year, Squarespace Enterprise customers were introduced to Squarespace Blueprint AI, powered by Squarespace’s Design Intelligence technology. With Squarespace Blueprint AI, organizations can quickly build and deploy delightful, brand-friendly sites for subbrands, subsidiaries, products, services, and more—all at scale and populated with high-quality AI-generated copy and imagery.
